A & G Manufacturing Co., Inc. is a family owned company established in 1971 by Arvin Shifley and Glen Shifley Sr. Initially functioning as a Job Shop facility for machining, welding, fabricating, and finish painting, the company underwent a growth trajectory over the years. In 1975, they constructed their first building, which has been expanded five times to become Plant 2. In 1993, they procured Plant 1, and went on to acquire the Pettibone Mercury Tow Tractor line in 1996, following several years of fabricating and assembling units for them.
Plant 1 spans 4 acres, comprising of 33,000 sq. ft. of space accommodating the Main office, Mercury Sales office, Machine Shop, and A&G Mercury Parts warehouse.
Plant 2 was the first manufacturing space for A&G Mfg. Co. Inc., with the original building being built in 1975. It has undergone five expansions since then and currently occupies 11 acres, with 54,000 sq. ft of manufacturing space. Plant 2 functions as a hub for Heavy Fabrication, Assembly of Tow Tractors, Abrasive Blasting, Wet Coat, and Powder Coating.
