Found Aircraft Canada was a private aerospace company founded in 1996 by N.K. (Bud) Found and based in Parry Sound, Ontario, Canada. The company initially began designing a new bush plane design, the FBA-1, in 1946, but did not enter production until 1964 with the Found FBA-2. In 1967, production of the hand-made aircraft ceased due to difficulties in profitability. However, in 1994, Bud Found regained control of the rights to the aircraft and re-formed the company. In 1997, the FBA-2 was reintroduced with improvements as the FBA-2C1 Bush Hawk and FBA-2C2 Bush Hawk-XP. Later, in 2007, the company launched Expedition Aircraft and developed two new models, the E350 and E350XC, for the private pilot market. The Expedition E350 was FAA type certified in 2008. Unfortunately, Found Aircraft Company ceased trading in early 2014 and is no longer in operation.
