Founded on March 30th, 1934 under a different name, the company is headquartered in Nishi-ku, Yokohama, Japan. Isuzu has subsidiaries and joint ventures in various countries, including Turkey, Russia, India, China, the United Kingdom, South Africa, the Philippines, Taiwan, Vietnam, and Malaysia. The company has assembly and manufacturing plants in Fujisawa, Tochigi, and Hokkaidō prefectures.
