Mototok is a manufacturer of aircraft tugs that was founded in 2003 by Kersten Eckert and Thilo Wiers-Keiser. Eckert’s personal frustration with the process of maneuvering aircraft on the ground led him to develop a more efficient solution. After five years of development, Mototok introduced battery-powered industrial tugs that can be operated by a single person via high technology remote control. Today, Mototok offers tugs for all types of aircraft up to 200 tons, and their products are used by a variety of industries and individuals worldwide.
