The company was established in 1989 and initially focused on ultralight trike aircraft construction before shifting its specialization towards composite ultralight aircraft design and manufacturing. TL–Ultralight’s current ownership is held by Jiří Tlustý. The company has produced several aircraft models, including the TL-22 Duo, a conventional ultralight trike model no longer in production, and the current TL-3000 Sirius, as well as three variants of the TL-2000 Sting: the S3, S4, and RG models.
